AN alleged outlaw bikie gang member was arrested at Sutton Forest yesterday morning, October 28, at 5.30am.
Strike Force Raptor officers arrested a 45-year-old member of an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) during a pro-active operation targeting firearm and drug-related offences.
A statement released by police said officers attended a large property at Sutton Forest to investigate reports of cannabis supply and firearm possession.
The 45-year-old man was arrested at the scene. Police will allege he is a member of the Fourth Reich Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.
The man was taken to Bowral Police Station where he is assisting with inquiries. Charges are expected to be laid.
Police officers are currently executing a search warrant at the property where they have so far located 17 firearms including nine rifles, two shotguns, five pistols and a pen gun.
They have also located and seized a quantity of ammunition, gun barrels and a quantity of cannabis. The search is continuing.
Strike Force Raptor was established by the State Crime Command's Gangs Squad and is a proactive and high-impact operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs and their associated criminal enterprises.
