BDCU rides on for the kids

BDCU Children’s Foundation has resolved to continue working for the welfare of local children in hospital.

At its recent annual general meeting, members resolved to continue fundraising to maintain and provide equipment for the new Bowral Hospital children’s ward.

“We have further plans to provide support for children and their families,” President Susie Reynolds said.

Centennial Vineyards Restaurant will host a Melbourne Cup lunch on Tuesday, November 3, from 11.30am, in aid of the BDCU Children’s Foundation.

Guests could win prizes for best hat, best dressed man and woman, sweeps and door prize, hat display and all the fun of the day that stops the nation.

Tickets are avaialble at $85 per head or $75 each for a table of ten and can be booked by calling 48618701.

“The numbers are filling quickly and we urge anyone interested to contact Centennial now” said Susie Reynolds.
