Glimmer of hope for dogs

The Moss Vale Greyhound Racing Club may have brokered a last ditch deal with the Show Society to keep the greyhounds racing.

Following Saturday's eviction of the greyhound club president Des Bentley has approached his counterpart at the Moss Vale Show Society, Cheryl Pittolo about finding some sort of compromise to allow the club to stay.

"I have approached the Show Society about cutting a deal that allows us to race for 26 weeks of the year and at the same time letting them rent out the showgrounds a bit more freely," he said.
