THE man charged over an accident that left one teenager a quadriplegic and his own 17-year-old son with a severed arm faced Moss Vale Local Court on Monday.
The 45-year-old faces six charges over the January 18. 2009, crash on Berrima Road at Moss Vale.
The Ingleburn man faces three counts of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm and one count each of driving while disqualified, negligent driving and illegal use of a motor vehicle.
Police will allege the man took a 2001 maroon Ford Ute from his workplace at JaxQuick Fit Tyres in Campbelltown on the afternoon of January 17.
He was driving three teenage boys to New Berrima in the Ute when it crashed just before 1pm on January 18.
His 15-year-old son shattered his left arm and another 15-year-old broke his neck in three places, leaving him a quadriplegic.
The case has been adjourned until October 19.
