A STREAKER wearing only a grey-coloured beanie led police on a merry chase around Community Oval, Moss Vale, at the Group 6 rugby league grand final on Sunday.

The man put on quite a show before the start of the Thirlmere and Oakdale first grade final by running across the field sans clothes, wearing only his trusty beanie to keep him warm.

Unfortunately for the man, it was a particularly cold morning.Police gave chase, but the man had a substantial lead and a car waiting for him. Police inquiries are continuing.
