The late Sir Donald Bradman would have turned 99.94 years old this week - equal to his famous Test batting average.

That got Southern Highland News staff wondering how many ways the number 99.94 could be displayed around Bowral to mark the centenary year of its favourite son.

After deciding that the RTA would draw the line at changing the speed limits to 99.94kmh, we invited Tavinder Sharma and Teegan Wales of Highlands Fresh to pose for this photograph.

Their boss Rick Nassif liked the idea so much that he decided to sell his oranges for 99.94 cents a kilo at the Bowral and Mittagong stores today to mark the anniversary.
