Moss Vale’s under-18s basketball team recovered from a slow start to the Southern Junior League by winning twice and drawing once in the second round of the Barrengarry Conference at Kiama on Sunday.

The Magic beat the ACT Ramblers 48-34 in their first game after leading 26-18 at halftime. Solid rebounding from Nick Madden and Morgan Short proved the difference. Madden and Dayne Hutchinson hit 11 points and Taylor Sneddon got 10.
