WARREN Hayes, playing off a handicap of 10, made a successful return to Gibraltar Country Club last Saturday to post a stableford score of 39 points.
Hayes’ 39 points were enough to win division one (0-16 handicaps).
On his return, Hayes commented most favourably regarding the work in progress with the course layout and additional water hazards.
The division one runner up was Ron Druery off 13 with 38 points, while the scratch winner was Wayne Knapp with 34 points including an eagle on the par five third hold (410m).
Graham Falconer playing off a handicap of 21 won division two for 17-32 handicaps with 43 points.
Chris Campbell (17) was runner up on a count back with 38 points.
Other good scores were recorded by Vern Vella and Jim Cush, both with 38 points, Wayne Knapp, Paul Knock, Terry Harman and Shin Lee all with 37 points.
The NTPs were won by Brendan Dodds (Moss Vale) on the 4th, Andrew McFadden (Moss Vale) the 9th, Graham Falconer won the Pro’s NTP 10th, Warren Jones won the 12th, and Allen Delamont won the 15th.
Ten balls were handed out to 37 points net.
