Pros battle for pride and money

23 Oct, 2009 10:04 AM
FOUR of the Highlands’ best golfers are ready to go head-to-head in the Bowral Golf Club’s Pro Skins day on Sunday.

Bowral’s Tony White [pictured] will look to defend his crown against Legends Tour player Larry Canning, Mount Broughton’s Robert Kennedy and Mittagong-based Kevin Kenny.

The prize money is $100 per hole and another $200 for the first pro to hit within a flag’s length of the hole on a par three.

The day starts with a bacon and egg roll breakfast at 9.30am on the Bowral Golf Club’s terrace and play is set to get underway at 11am.

The day concludes with a presentation at 4pm.

All money raised goes to the Berrima District Rescue Squad/SES.

The Bowral Golf Club has invited all golf enthusiasts to attend and support the local emergency services volunteers.
