VISITOR Geoff Butler from Beverley Park Golf Club, playing off a handicap of 13, scored 40 points to win division one for 0 – 16 handicaps in a single stableford played at Gibraltar Country Club on Saturday.
Behind Butler was Barry Davison (16) with 39 points, while the scratch winner was Wayne Knapp with 33 points.
Josh Burt, playing off a handicap of 26, won division two for 17-32 handicaps with 39 points on a countback from Andrew Bell (25), who also hit 39 points.
The nearest-to-pins were won by Wayne Godbolt on the 4th, Peter Rainbow on the 9th, Allen Delamont won the Pro’s NTP 10th, Andrew Bowie the 12th, and Sam Marshall won the 15th. Wayne Knapp won the birdie hole (third hole).
Ron Berney recorded an eagle on the 251m par four 17th hole.
In the ball competition there were 10 balls to 37 nett won by Butler, Davison, Burt, Bell, Delamont, David Wing (Eastlakes), Harry Gardiner, Godbolt, Steve Shute and Tom Feeney (Moss Vale).
