TOMORROW at 1pm is the final of the Bowral Bowling Club’s men’s triples.
Cameron New, Mick Flynn and Wade Eaton match up against Stephen Della, Greg Lewis and Ashley Lewis.
On paper the favourites would be the team of Della and the Lewises who only two weeks ago played for Southern Tablelands District Bowling Association against the ACT.
A rundown of the players is as follows:
Cameron New
The youngest player in the club who has been in a couple of finals already this year and will play lead. Representative player.
Mick Flynn
Playing second, he has a range of shots and has the comfort of being able to play the draw shot and also can play the drive with success.
Wade Eaton
Newly promoted to skipper, Eaton is the surprise packet. He can play the draw shot extremely well and in the match his side will look for his leadership skills.
Stephen Della
He is the top rated player in the club. No more needs to be said. Representative player.
Greg Lewis
Will be playing second and has been playing well all season. He is also a representative player.
Ashley Lewis
The skipper has a wide range of shots. Another representative player.
Most members have reason to say the team of Della and the Lewises look set to capitalise on their big match experience and notch another win.
But the team of New, Flynn and Eaton have a tough game on their hands, but being a final anything could happen.
The match starts tomorrow at 1pm.
