BOWRAL’S Short Blacks finished off their season with a gala day against the Goulburn Dirty Reds on Sunday.
The under-8s had a hard fought 35-30 win, while the under-12s went down 12-10.
The under-8s’ Russ Fenton scored four times, Frank Scanlan twice and Harrison Lazurus once.
Manger Richard Fenton said it was an entertaining match.
“The boys had an absolute ball. It was a great finish to the season. I’m sure all are very much looking forward to next year already,” he said.
