YERRINBOOL-BARGO sealed the 2008 Highlands first grade minor premiership with a 1-1 draw against Exeter at Government Road on Saturday.
The 2006 top dogs reclaimed the minor premiership after an under-performing 2007 season where they failed to finish first or make the grand final.
Bushrangers captain Rob Miller said the team had achieved two of its three goals for the year.
“We wanted to win the Daryl Kill Cup and the minor premiership and we have done that. Now we need to win the grand final,” he said.
Exeter’s Matt Kellond got the visitors off to a great start with a cross-cum-shot in the opening minutes and Exeter held on to lead 1-0 at the break.
Ben Miller drew the scores level 15 minutes into the second half following a solid Bushranger attacking raid down the left flank.
