Hilmi’s homecoming boosts United

4/08/2008 4:36:00 PM
HIGHLANDS United striker Jed Hilmi is already a seasoned journeyman and the young soccer star is only 19 years-old.

The apprentice cabinetmaker has played for the Wollongong Wolves, Macarthur Rams, Highlands Eagles, Camden Tigers and Moss Vale before signing at Renwick Park this season.

Hilmi is one of the most talented teenagers in the Highlands and has added some much-needed firepower up front for United coach Brian Hollywood this season. He bagged a double in United's round 16 4-4 draw with Kiama and also has a hat-trick to his name this season.

His patience and speed off the mark has made him a hard proposition for defenders in the Peoplecare District League and Hilmi has rewarded Hollywoods' faith in him by producing when United have needed it most.
