IF Yerrinbool-Bargo can beat Exeter in the last round this Saturday they will take out the first grade premiership after they beat Mittagong 3-1 at Ironmines Oval on Saturday. Robertson's draw with Bowral sees Yerrinbool one point clear at the top of the table.
Mittagong put in another solid performance and referee Rod Dent commented they are a yard away from winning a game. The winless cellar dwellers went ahead through Mark Woszczalski early in the first term but Luke Dinham drew the league leaders level midway through the term. Dinham bagged his second shortly before the half to give the visitors a 2-1 advantage.
Josh Borg sealed Yerrinbool's 10th win 10 minutes from time.
Yerrinbool captain Rob Miller said it was a good win considering his team had only the bare 11.
“It was a competitive game and we knocked the ball around well," he said.
"We let in another soft goal which was disappointing but we controlled the possession well.
